Vijayawada: Attacks on temples rise under YSRCP rule said TS Ravi Kumar
Vijayawada: Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) state secretary TS Ravi Kumar has said that the appointment of trustees to the Simhachalam Devastanam Trust Board was giving room for suspicion because the government issued orders late in the night in a hurried manner.
Speaking to media on Wednesday, Ravi Kumar said that the images related to the newly appointed chairperson of the Trust Samchaita gives suspicion that she may follow Christian religion. He said the images of Samchaita posted in the social media raises questions on her religion.
He said there are no evidences that she had participated in any spiritual programmes belongs to Hindus. He said the VHP feels that the state government has been taking decisions against the Hindus. He alleged many attacks were taken place on Hindu temples and Hindu organizations since the YSRCP government came into power 10 months ago.
