Vijayawada: Cheyuta donates 1 lakh for treatment of little girl

Vijayawada: Cheyuta, an NGO, has donated Rs1 lakh financial assistance to parents of a little girl suffering from serious illness. T Raju is the resident of Krishnalanka and has a two-year-old baby girl Vahini. The girl has been suffering from blood cancer.

The Cheyuta members came to knew about the suffering of little girl and decided to donate Rs 1 lakh. They handed over the cash to Raju at his residence on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, East Godavari CPS employees president M Ravi Kumar said it was a noble act and wished for the speedy recovery of the child. Ravi Kumar said Raju is the native of Samalkota, East Godavari and been living in Vijayawada.

He said the state government, pensioners, students, teachers and others are the members of Cheyuta and the NGO is doing service activities to help the people, who are in need of help.

APNGOs Western Krishna association zonal president M Rajababu said the real happiness lies in the helping others who needs help. Representatives of some organizations also participated in the event.
