Vijayawada: Civic chief inspects road repair works

Vijayawada: Municipal Commissioner Prasanna Venkatesh asked the Town Planning Department officials to find a solution to the long pending road widening works near Kaleshwararao Market. The Commissioner along with the officials of Engineering and Town Planning Departments inspected the Jawaharlal Nehru road from West booking railway station to K Market on Monday.

He asked the officials to speak to the managements of Tarapet mosque and church to resolve the road widening works, which had been pending since Krishna Pushkaralu.

Venkatesh said accidents were taking place on the road due to the heavy traffic and asked the officials to speak to the managements of the mosque and church to get the land for road widening works. He inspected the patch works taken up with Z patcher machine near the Market. The advanced machine is very useful to repair the damaged roads and fill the craters and potholes with emulsion and metal.
