Vijayawada: Civic chief seeks people's cooperation for better ranking
Vijayawada: Municipal Corporation Commissioner V Prasanna Venkatesh has appealed to the people of the city to participate in the Citizen Perception Survey conducted by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to get better ranking in the country.
He said the Union government would announce awards on the ease of living assessment (EOL), based on the living standards in the cities. He said various parameters will be taken into consideration for the awards and asked the people to participate widely in online or offline in the Citizen Perception Survey.
Prasanna Venkatesh along with Additional Commissioner of Projects U Sarada Devi released the poster on Citizen Perception Survey on Saturday. The survey will continue till February 29.
He said Vijayawada got 9th rank in 2018 in ease of living rankings and would get better rank if more people participate in it this time. She said citizens can participate in the survey by logging to eol2019.prg/CitizenFeedback where they have to respond to questions on various subjects like transportation, cleanliness, electricity, housing affordability, women safety, green cover, air quality, financial services, education for children, rental/housing availability in the city, health care services.
