Vijayawada: Complete demarcation works soon, civic chief Venkatesh Prasanna tells ward staff

Vijayawada: Vijayawada Municipal Commissioner Venkatesh Prasanna has asked the ward secretariat staff working in the city to complete the demarcation of the municipal divisions in the city as early as possible in view of the ensuing municipal corporation elections.

The Commissioner visited Tummalapalli Kalakshetram where a meeting was conducted for the ward secretariat staff to address their problems. The staff have explained to the commissioner that they were not getting salaries regularly, shortage of volunteers and other problems.

Later, commissioner instructed the staff to complete the demarcation work of municipal divisions in the city as possible. It may be noted municipal divisions in the city increased from 59 to 64 in the city recently.

Referring to Corona virus, commissioner has suggested the take measures to check the spread of Covid-19 in the city and to work in co-ordination with the district administration.
