Dr Sailajanath recalled that Jagan Mohan Reddy extended a number of assurances to the SCs and STs during the Padayatra and even more assurances after coming to power. He would like to bring the same to the notice of the Chief Minister regarding discrimination by the government, he said.

How many nominated posts were filled with Scheduled Caste persons as per the proportional representation of their population, Dr Sailajanath asked and demanded the government to release a white paper on the same. Referring to the cash disbursal to various sections, the PCC chief demanded financial help of Rs 15,000 to each of the Scheduled Caste women.
