Vijayawada: Excellent presentation of Parvathi Parinayam

Vijayawada: 'Parvathi Parinayam', a dance ballet was showcased on Wednesday evening at Sidhartha auditorium in connection with Kuchpudi Nrityosthav being organized by Nrithya Kinnera and Department of Culture, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

With a well known mythological story, Dr Vedantam Radheshyam choreographed this dance ballet "Parvathi Parinayam". This ballet was penned by Dandibhotla Venkata Sastry. Excellent presentation was given by the artistes. Particularly the performance of Sidhendra Varaprasad as Parameswara, Satyanandini as Parvathi and Bhavana as Manmadha was received appreciations from dance lovers present there.

As part of promoting youth, Kakarlapudi Sruthi Samanvi presented Kuchipudi classical dance items and attracted the attention of the gathering. In a brief meeting Dr M Kantha Rao, IPS, congratulated the artistes.
