Vijayawada: The State government issued orders for the implementation of YSR Cheyuta scheme to Muslims basing on the rules and procedures being followed for the implementation of other welfare schemes implemented by Minority welfare department.

The State government has decided to implement YSR Cheyuta scheme to provide financial assistance of Rs 75,000 to each woman belonging to BC, SC, ST and Minorities, who are in the age group of 45 to 60 years.

Except the women beneficiaries already covered under YSR Pension Kanuka, exemption was given to the OC Muslims and other Minority Communities from submitting caste certificates.

Now, the state government is implementing YSR Cheyuta and seeking applications from the said communities to render financial assistance for their empowerment.

Basing on the requests of the Muslims, the state government issued orders to the concerned department to follow the procedures and guidelines which are followed by Minorities Welfare department for implementation of welfare schemes to implement the YSR Cheyuta scheme.

Minorities welfare department is following some procedures for identification of individual beneficiaries for implementation of various minority welfare schemes and similar procedures to be followed for implementation of YSR Cheyuta.
