Vijayawada: Kinjarapu family enjoys people's support

Vijayawada: TDP MP K Rammohan Naidu and former Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao visited the district jail in Vijayawada on Wednesday to express solidarity with party leader and former Minister K Atchannaidu.

Atchannaidu has been named as one of accused in the alleged Rs 150-crore ESI scam and was arrested by the police about 10 days ago. Subsequently, he was admitted to GGH in Guntur due to illness and discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.

Rammohan Naidu speaking to media at the District Jail alleged that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was harassing the Kinjarapu family and made it clear that they would not get frightened by such harassments.

He questioned why the police shifted Atchannaidu in the wheelchair when they claimed that he had fully recovered.

He said that the YSRCP government had been harassing Atchannaidu because they can't face the Kinjarapu family politically. He said the family had the support of people and they would not be scared by the intimidatory tactics being adopted by the YSRCP government.
