Vijayawada: Krishna University to monitor education in colleges

Vijayawada: Krishna University Registrar K Krishna Reddy has said the University introduced the cultural and arts club to promote and preserve culture. He said the University was trying to strengthen education and monitoring the educational standards of the colleges.

Krishna Reddy participated in the Nalanda success meet organized at the Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on Tuesday.

He said that the Nalanda degree model education was very useful to the students and encouraging. He congratulated the students, who secured jobs in the interviews.

Nalanda Degree College Principal M Anuradha said that she was delighted to inform that 439 students from the degree college selected in placement and added that last year 188 candidates were selected. Anuradha said companies like Wipro, Accenture, Infosys evinced interest to select the candidates of Nalanda college. Prof B Sudheer Kumar, another guest, said there is no short cut for success but the students have to work hard to achieve success in their career.

Students performed cultural programmes joyfully to mark the occasion and got applause from the guests.
