Vijayawada: MLA inaugurates 3-day travel exhibition
Vijayawada: Central Assembly constituency MLA Malladi Vishnu said the State government would extend full cooperation for the promotion of tourism in the state.
Vishnu inaugurated the India International Travel Exhibition (IITE) at the Amaravati convention hall near Vijaya Krishna Super Bazaar on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the exhibition will furnish information on tourism centres in many states of the country, hotels facility, train, air and bus connectivity and transportation to the famous tourist centres in the country.
IITE Director Anurag Gupta said tourism corporations of Kerala, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh also taking part in the three-day exhibition which will conclude on March 1. He said the visitors can visit the exhibition from 11 am to 7 pm.
He said the Andhra Pradesh government is promoting tourism in the State and thanked the government for extending support for conducting the three-day exhibition.
