Vijayawada: NSS volunteers hold awareness camp

Vijayawada: NSS volunteers of SRK Institute of Technology created awareness on the importance of digital transactions, consumers' rights, ill effects of open defecation, health care and use of mobile to the villagers near Panchayat office and students of ZP High School in Enikepadu on Friday. The NSS volunteers under the supervision of programme officer JS Sudheer visited the village and met the students and local people.

College principal Dr M Ekabaram Naidu said the NSS volunteers have been conducting special camp from February 26 to March 4 in the village near Panchayat office and meet the villagers to explain various subjects. He said free medical health camp will be conducted on March 1 from 10 am to 12 noon to help the local village on health care related to skin and hair. The camp will be organised in association with Skin to Bone Clinic on Sunday.
