Vijayawada: Occupancy certificates for buildings to be issued

Vijayawada: Municipal Commissioner Prasanna Venkatesh instructed the concerned officials to give Occupancy Certificates to the buildings after conducting the inspections.

The commissioner along with the town planning officials visited Patamata, Income Tax colony, Gayatri Nagar, Kanaka Durga officers colony, Anna danam samajam road and other areas and inspected the buildings.

He asked the officials to verify whether the buildings were built as per the norms and plan. He also asked them to check and remove the unauthorized hoardings, flexes and boards and check unauthorized constructions.

Venkatesh expressed dissatisfaction over the poor hygienic conditions in Kanaka Durga Officers Colony and asked the sanitation staff to keep the roads clean.
