Vijayawada: Political leaders open Amaravati-JAC office
Vijayawada: MP Kesineni Srinivas, former minister Vadde Sobhanadreeswara Rao, CPI State Secretary K Ramakrishna and Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Rammohan inaugurated the Amaravati JAC office in Autonagar here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Kesineni Srinivas said that the State government was not following the democratic policies and demanded that Amaravati should be continued as the capital of Andhra Pradesh. He alleged the police rule is continuing in the State and officials were talking recklessly in the State. He said the MLAs, Ministers and MPs were still afraid to visit the capital villages in the wake of outrage among farmers.
CPI State secretary Ramakrishna said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy should change his attitude and respond to the agitation by capital farmers which completed 70 days.
JAC-convener A Siva Reddy, co-convener Gadde Tirupati Rao, former Zilla Parishad chairperson Gadde Anuradha and others were also present on the occasion.
