Vijayawada: Potti Sreeramulu's sacrifice recalled

Vijayawada: Central MLA Malladi Vishnu paid glowing tributes to freedom fighter Potti Sreeramulu to mark the 119th birth anniversary on Monday.

He garlanded the statue of Potti Sree Ramulu in Satyanarayanapuram and recalled the services of the departed leader. He said Potti Sreeramulu had sacrificed his life for the creation of Andhra and made relentless fight many years for a separate Andhra state.

Vishnu said Potti Sree Ramulu always believed in non-violence and he was the follower of Mahatma Gandhi and appealed to the youth to emulate the ideals of Sreeramulu
