Vijayawada: SRKE College holds workshop on Computer Aided Design

Vijayawada: Computer Aided Design (CAD) is very important to design the buildings, roads, boundaries and other civil engineering works, said Dr M Ekambaram, principal of SRK Engineering College, Enikepadu.

He addressed the workshop organized for the Civil engineering students on Wednesday.

Amigas Architects and Amigas Skill Development Training Centre jointly organized the workshop.

Speaking on the occasion, principal Ekambaram called upon the students to increase the knowledge ian conducting surveys which are required to construction sector and civil engineering. He said Railways, PWD, R and B and other departments are using CAD in construction of projects.

College Civil engineering head Dr T Satyanarayana, faculty and students attended the workshop.
