Vijayawada: TDP State office inauguration on Dec 6

Vijayawada: The TDP leadership is gearing up for electing the new village-level committees soon in view of the forthcoming local body elections.

At a meeting with the party leaders at his residence at Undavalli in Guntur district on Saturday, TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu also took a decision to revamp the 13 committees of the party with youngsters.

The committees for all villages would be completed before the panchayat elections. Similarly, meetings should be conducted with the members of newly-elected committees, he directed the cadre.

The leaders also informed him that the meetings were completed in nearly 60 per cent of villages. Naidu said that 50 per cent of posts would be given to BCs, SCs, STs and the Muslims.

Similarly, 33 per cent of posts would be allotted to women, he said. He asked the party leaders to get ready to help people when they are face hardships from the unruly State government.

TDP party new office inauguration on Dec 6: The newly-constructed TDP office, NTR Bhavan, near Mangalagiri will be inaugurated at 10.30 am on December 6. The TDP leadership has finalised the muhurtham for new office inauguration as per the suggestions of pundits. The party leadership also invited the party workers and leaders to participate in the programme.
