Vijayawada: Telugu Association of North America appeals to people to stay at home for 10 days
Vijayawada: Telugu Association of North America (TANA) president T Jaya Sekhar appealed to the Telugus to stay at their homes for at least 10 days to check the spread of coronavirus.
He said it is the time to show collective efforts and unity to fight against the coronavirus. In a press release on Sunday, Jaya Sekhar said the dreaded virus has infected nearly two lakh people around the world and there were two options to check its spread.
He said the first option is staying at home and avoiding meeting people and participating in the marriages, functions, parties, etc., and the second option is maintenance of hygiene like cleaning of hands with sanitors, avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth with the hands.
He said every individual must be aware of the do's and don'ts to avoid getting infected.
