Vijayawada: Workshop on plastic oil tomorrow

Vijayawada: Chairman of Vijayawada Chapter of Andhra Chambers Malineni Rajaiah on Sunday said that a workshop will be organised at Gateway Hotel on Tuesday on plastic oil production to overcome the plastic menace.

Chennai-based Vidya Amarnath, who launched a factory to produce plastic oil from plastic waste at a cost of Rs 5 crore wayback in 2014, will address the workshop to be attended by District Collector A Md Imtiaz.

Rajaiah hoped entrepreneurs from the state who are keen to set up such units, would participate in the meet and make it a grand success. A Satyanarayana, director of Andhra Chambers, was also present.
