Vijayawada: Workshop on the fabrication of aquariums held

Vijayawada: Growing fish can generate self-employment and students can earn money at home growing ornamental fish, said B Vara Kishore, the proprietor of Vaishnavi Aquarium, Guntur.

He participated in the workshop on the fabrication and maintenance of aquariums organized by Siddhartha Women's College on Monday. Zoology students enthusiastically participated in the workshop and learned the fabrication of aquariums.

Speaking on the occasion, Kishore said Andhra Pradesh is lagging behind in cultivation and growing of ornamental fish compared to other states like Tamil Nadu. He said doctors are suggesting that growing fish will reduce blood pressure and relief from stress.

The College Director T Vijaylakshmi and college principal M Nalini congratulated the students.
