Vijayawada: YSRCP takes out massive rally
Vijayawada: Various sections of people including weaker sections, downtrodden, women, students are being taken care by the YSRCP government after it assumed power, said YSR Congress leader in-charge of Vijayawada East assembly segment Devineni Avinash.
Participating in a massive rally taken out in connection with completion of three years of Praja Sankalpa Yatra by YSRCP president and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Avinash said here on Monday that the party activists had been meeting people personally for the last ten days in all the divisions in the assembly constituency to inform them of the various welfare programmes undertaken by the government.
The rally started at Christurajapuram in the 5th division by paying floral tributes to Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Dr Ambekdar and Devineni Rajasekhar and culminated at Sikhamani Centre in the 7th division.
Several thousands of activists participated in the rally raising slogans in favour of the YSRCP.
Avinash addressing the gathering said that the Chief Minister would be in power in the next 30 years owing to the welfare programmes the party has undertaken for the welfare of people.
YCP leaders Kadiyala Bucchibabu, corporator candidates Kalapla Ambedkar, Merakanapalli Madhuri, Lam Kiran, Sujata, Vege Venakteswara Rao, Sampat, Oggu Vithal, Kutumba Rao, Songa Raj Kamal, Chitram Lokesh, and a huge number of former mayors and corporators also participated.
