Visakhapatnam: 100 stalls put up at Natural Crops Festival

Visakhapatnam: The three-day 'Natural Crops Festival' is all set to begin at A S Raja Grounds, MVP Colony from Friday. Organised by the cow-based Nature Farmers Association, the fair will see officials concerned, scientists, experts and farmers in large numbers attending it. VMRDA Chairman Dronamraju Srinvasa Rao is expected to inaugurate the organic mela at the A S Raja Grounds.

About 100 stalls will be put up on the occasion. Farmers and NGO representatives will share their experiences in natural farming. Seminar on kitchen garden and training in planting tools, seed selection and cosmetics made of natural products form a part of the three-day mela that concludes on February 9.

Food scientist Khader Vali will talk about 'Healthy eating through natural crops.'

Arrangements are being made for the fair which will remain open from 10 am to 10 pm for public.
