Visakhapatnam: 252 Sai students take part in Kho-Kho, Cricket Unity Cup

Visakhapatnam: Sri Sathya Sai Kho-Kho and Cricket Unity Cup competitions were held for boys at Kaniti Zilla Parishad High School in Vadlapudi rehabilitation colony on Sunday.

The competitions were conducted as part of Sri Satya Sai Baba's 95th birthday celebrations aimed at enhancing the unity, collective team spirit and mutual understanding of others amongst the balavikas children.

A total of 252 boys and girls from 11 Sri Sathya Sai Samitis' across the district, 72 Balvikas gurus, 40 sevadals, several devotees and office-bearers participated in the competitions. Visakhapatnam district president of Sri Satya Sai Seva organisation V R Nageswara Rao inaugurated the tournament. Coordinator of Sri Sathya Sai education department of Visakha district Malladi Jaya and several Balavikas teachers were involved in conducting the programme. Also, a blood donation camp was organised by Sri Sathya Sai Visakha district mahila youth wing in association with Life Share Blood bank. A large number of women and youth donated blood in the camp.
