Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada stands top in the low cost of living
The standard and poor communities who migrate to cities for employment and employment are first concerned about the cost of living. In the towns where the livelihood is high, a third part of the salary is spent for living leading the people to suffer from financial burden. Against this backdrop, a survey conducted by the Nambio Company on the cost of living in 352 cities of the world showed that the low cost of living in the state of Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam in our state is available to the common man.
The cost of living is soaring in the cities of our country, the report says, compared to other cities in the world, the common man has an excellent opportunity in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, which were ranked 350 and 351 in the report. Zurich, Basel, Lausanne, Geneva, and Bern, Switzerland, topped the list with the highest cost of living. While major metropolitan cities like ranks as follows Mumbai 316, Delhi 323, Bangalore 327, Pune 328, Hyderabad 333, Chennai 334 and Kolkata 336. The company has researched by comparing with New York City's cost of living. For this purpose, the New York City Index is estimated to be one hundred per cent by calculating the prices of essentials, jewellery, restaurants, transportation and other necessities. The prices were compared with other cities' rates. For example, when comparing the prices of Geneva with New York, the index got 121%. That means the cost of living in Geneva is 21 per cent higher than in New York. The Paris City Index is 85 per cent higher than New York's 15 per cent.
The index of Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam was 21.64 per cent and 21.21 per cent respectively.
