Visakhapatnam: Andhra University to host national hackathon from December 6

Visakhapatnam: Andhra University College of Engineering (Autonomous) Principal P Srinivasa Rao has informed that AUCE will conduct a national hackathon 'Seeghra Tantra' (smart and swift approach) on December 6 and 7 on its campus premises.

The hackathon is conducted by the Department of Computer Science and Systems Engineering under TEQIP III.

A poster of the ensuing event was launched here on Monday. The platform is open to students of all engineering branches and other streams as well.

According to convener of event D Lalitha Bhaskar, the hackathon will focus on six themes and the platform will help students showcase problem-solving skills.

Registration for the event will continue till November 28. Teams consisting of two-three members are eligible to take part in the hackathon. Selected teams will have to develop a model based on their ideas on December 6 to 7.
