Visakhapatnam: Grandhi asks alumni to contribute for Andhra University development
Visakhapatnam: Founding Chairman of Andhra University Alumni Association (AAA) Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao termed the old students of Andhra University as real wealth of the institution.
Attending a meeting held to discuss the plans ahead for the ensuing 'Waves 2019', the alumni meet held at AU here on Friday, the chairman of GMR Group said there was a need for alumni to contribute to the varsity. Further, he stated that the old students settled across the world should contribute to the development of the university either by rendering service and sharing their expertise.
He suggested that similar associations should be set up in Bengaluru and the US. Vice-Chancellor of the varsity P V G D Prasad Reddy said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy would grace the meet scheduled on December 13.
