Visakhapatnam: GYAN2K20 concludes at Avanthi Engineering College

Visakhapatnam: The two-day technical festival 'GYAN2K20' celebrated at Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tagarapuvalasa campus was concluded on Saturday. M Ramalinga Raju, Vice-chancellor, JNTUK Kakinada, B Murali Manohara Rao, Vice-President, Strategic Marketing, Sankhya Technologies, R Hafeez Basha, Advisor UPSC, Niti–Aayog graced the event. Tourism Minister and founder-chairman of Avanthi Group of Colleges Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao presided over the event as guest of honour.

JNTUK VC M Ramalinga Raju addressed students to master the subject of their respected streams and advised students to focus on their career goals.

The minister expressed his joy for being an academician and suggested students to update their knowledge as learning is a continuous process. He advised the students to become job givers rather than job seekers. Around 450 students participated in the event from Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram districts. Certificates and cash prizes were distributed to candidates who excelled in various events like quiz, paper presentations, poster presentations and project expo.
