Visakhapatnam is a good destiny for the Development: CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy

Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy responded to the capital issue at 'The Hindu Excellence in Education' program held at the Gateway Hotel in Vijayawada. Speaking on occasion, he said Visakhapatnam has all the infrastructure, which is already a developed city in Andhra Pradesh. "The cost of construction of capital at Visakhapatnam is far less compared to Amaravati, and it can be further developed in 10 years," CM asserted.

The chief minister also emphasised on the need for the decentralisation of the development in the state. Hence he asserted that his government had paved the path for mooting three capitals. However, he assured to develop Amaravati as well, which is the legislative capital of the state.

The chief minister who addressed the gathering has also emphasised on the government's schemes, especially the introduction of English Medium in government-run schools and other programs such as Mid-day meal scheme and Jaganna Amma vodi schemes.
