Visakhapatnam: Jagan, first CM to honour 80% promises said Tourism Minister

Visakhapatnam: Minister for Tourism Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao announced that Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has created history by becoming the first Chief Minister to fulfill 80 percent of the promises made in Visakhapatnam on Monday at village and ward secretariat employee recruitment delivery programme at the AU Convention Hall.

The Chief Minister connected with the youth of the state through videoconferencing and was aware of the problems faced by youth and the recruitment drive was aimed at resolving their problems.

A total of 19 jobs were notified in Visakhapatnam district for 807 village ward secretary, 10,807 posts in several departments, 7,724 candidates were called for certificate verification. Around 6,243 candidates appeared, 4,362 candidates were selected. On the reporting date, the candidate will get counselled by the respective department.

VMRDA Chairman Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao mentioned that the Chief Minister embarked on a new history in the State and made an ideal and courageous decision for the youth. District Collector V Vinay Chand said that the government's objective is to provide public services to strengthen the municipal gram panchayats.

GVMC Commissioner G Srijana, Joint Collector L Siva Sankar, Joint Collector 2 – M V Suryakala and other dignitaries were present at the programme.
