Visakhapatnam: Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao asks youth to follow footsteps of Swami Vivekananda
Visakhapatnam: The State government is giving top priority for education by introducing schemes like 'Amma Vodi', 'Nadu-Nedu,' 'Vasathi Deevena' and 'Vidaya Deevena' to encourage low and middle-income groups to pursue higher education, said Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao.
Inaugurating the two-day national-level technical seminar 'Nipunya - 2K20' at Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Makavarapalem on the emerging trends, he said that the event would focus on 'Step ahead to solve the unsolved'.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister advised the youth to follow the footsteps of Swami Vivekananda and remain motivated. Visakhapatnam Port Trust Chairman K Rama Mohana Rao, who participated as chief guest, encouraged the students to achieve their goals. "Self-confidence and mental stability are two important requirements for the youth," he stated.
Former DDGP Nanduri Sambasiva Rao suggested the students to read more books to update their knowledge. College Principal C Mohan Rao, Department of computer science and engineering, NIT Warangal, Prof Sanjeevi among others participated.
