Visakhapatnam: Pragathi Bharath Foundation launches Ramadan relief programme

Visakhapatnam: Rajay Sabha member and managing trustee of Pragathi Bharath Foundation V Vijayasai Reddy, launched Ramadan relief programme for the benefit of 20,000 poor Muslim families in GVMC area here on Thursday. The programme was held at CMR Function Hall.

Pragathi Bharath Foundation, Visakhapatnam, a public Charitable Trust, has been established by Vijayasai Reddy.

The programme was attended by M Srinivasa Rao, Minister for Tourism, Culture and Youth Advancement, Kannababu Minister for Agriculture and Cooperation, A R Rehman, former MLA, Dronamraju Srinivas, Chairman, VMRDA, Farooq, State General Secretary, Minority Welfare, Gudivada Amarnath, MLA Anakapalle, Vamsi Krishna Srinivas, YSRCP Visakhapatnam city president, Mavuri Venkata Ramana, Trustee, S R Gopinath Reddy, trustee, who along with V Vijayasai Reddy distributed grocery bags to Muslim women and men who attended the programme. Each grocery bag consists of five kg rice, one kg each of sugar, refined edible oil, toor dal, 250 grams date packet and 400 grams of vermicelli samiya.
