Visakhapatnam: Railway police arrests two Bangladesh men in an elderly murder case
The police arrest the two suspects in a murder case who were fleeing at Visakhapatnam railway station. On the 11th of this month, two persons from Bangladesh, Labalu and Jewel attempted to smuggle a large amount of gold and flee to Bangladesh. With the information provided by Kerala Police, Visakhapatnam City Police, RPF, GRP and Railway Police jointly searched the Coromandel Express and arrested the accused. Gold was also recovered from them.
The two accused murdered an elderly couple on the 11th of this month at Venmoni police station in Kerala and tried to flee back to Bangladesh with money and gold at home. Immediately, alerted the Visakhapatnam police.
Visakhapatnam city police, RPF, GRP and railway police checked at the station after information was reported that two accused were fleeing on the Coromandel Express. The two accused have been arrested.
Police have arrested 16 people, including three women. Three of the suspects were found to be Bangladesh citizens, including a toddler. All were taken into custody.
