Visakhapatnam: Special 'homams' to curb corona

Visakhapatnam: In an attempt to curb the spread of coronavirus, special 'homams' are being performed at Sri Sarada Peetham from Wednesday in Visakhapatnam.
The homams, performed under the aegis of chief pontiff of the peetham Swaroopanandendra Saraswati and seer Swatmanandenra Saraswati, is a step towards preventing the spread of virus through divine intervention.
The rituals will continue for 11 days. Meanwhile, 'Dhanwantari homam' began at Srikalahasti temple for the well-being of the people.
According to Swatmanandenra Saraswati, there will be an impact of 'kalasarpa dosham' on India from April 2 to 10 and to ward it off, the rituals are being performed at the premises.
