Visakhapatnam : Speed up pending works of Venkateswara temple says TTD

Visakhapatnam : The construction of Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple at Rushikonda will be completed soon and it will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, said Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman Y V Subba Reddy here on Friday.

Visiting the temple at Rushikonda with Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao and other officials, the TTD Chairman examined the ongoing works of the temple.

Speaking on the occasion, Subba Reddy directed the authorities concerned to wrap up the pending work at the earliest. The TTD Chairman said the temple is being constructed at a cost of Rs 28 crore at Rushikonda.

The main temple is constructed in one-and-a-half-acre of land and the rest will be utilised for parking and other purposes.

Tourism Minister Srinivasa Rao said Visakhapatnam is gaining recognition as a spiritual city. Visakhapatnam MP MVV Satyanarayana, YSRCP city president Vamsi Krishna Srinivas Yadav, MLAs T Nagireddy and G Baburao, local leaders and officials accompanied the TTD Chairman.
