Visakhapatnam: VRO trapped in ACB net

Visakhapatnam: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has claimed to have trapped Kummaripuram VRO, who is in-charge of Rajavaram village, in Payakaraopeta mandal, Visakhapatnam on Tuesday.

M Ramakrishna, VRO of Kummaripuram and also in-charge of Rajavaram, was caught red-handed while allegedly accepting Rs 14,000 bribe from a complainant, Venkataramana, who belonged to the same village.

It is learnt that the bribe was allegedly accepted for getting the complainant's land details online.

However, he was caught while receiving the tainted money from the complainant.

Relevant records and the tainted money were seized from Ramakrishna's possession and he would be produced before the ACB court, the ACB officials said. The case is under investigation.
