Vizianagaram: MVGR hosts student level convention

Vizianagaram: MVGR College of Engineering (A) Department of Mechanical Engineering organised a student level convention (SAE), Amaravati Chapter on Saturday.

The chief guest for the event is M V S Hari Kishore, General Manager, Vizag Steel Plant. Speaking on the occasion, Hari Kishore said this kind of student conventions boost technical thinking in the young brains.

Principal Dr K V L Raju, student dean S Mohan Kumar, in-charge HoD of Mechanical Department Dr Ravi Kumar, faculty members, around hundred participants and 15 members of industry were present at the event.

Total 15 events were organised including steel metal operations events, bicycle assembly, material identification, bench marking, how thinks work and technical presentations.
