This is highest achievement rate in the entire Andhra Pradesh. M Hari Jawaharlal, the District Collector said that the district could achieve the record just because of the support of volunteers and other mandal and district-level officers. With the collective effort, they could perform well.

"So far we distributed Rs 78.47 crore to the pensioners at their homes," he said. He said 20,000 pensions are not yet disbursed due to non-availability of phone signal in hilly and remote areas.

"We rectified the technical errors that we faced last month and this time we are well prepared and reached every home," he said.

Apart from this, the district administration has set up a call centre at DRDA office with 20 staff to rectify the problem immediately and it was operated from 6AM to 10 PM on March 1.

The volunteers were taking the support of call centre if they face the problem.
