Vizianagaram: Students asked to work hard

Vizianagaram: MVGR College of Engineering has organised Freshers Induction Day celebrations in a grand manner on its campus. Participating in the celebrations on Monday, JNTU Vizianagaram College Principal Dr M Saraswathi advised the students to work hard to reach high goals and told not to deviate from their path.

Parents should be vigilant to understand the mindset of the students and to act accordingly, he said and added students should be self-motivated in order to architect their career.

College Principal Dr K V L Raju said this was the phase which is very crucial for a student whose transition is from corporate learning to cooperative learning. At this stage, every student should understand that how to make self-learning with available technological resources, he added.

Dean S Mohankumar asked the students to participate in every domain of academics ranging from designing the curriculum to delivering the goods, from promoting the personality to professionally prospering the careers.

Especially, in MVGR, students were given enough freedom to shape their careers as they dream, he stated.

The students performed cultural activities and impressed the audience. Vice-principal Dr Y M C Sekhar participated. Later Dr M Saraswathi awarded mementoes to the students.
