Vizianagaram: Y S Jagan rule demonic: Rajappa
Vizianagaram: Taking a dig at Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's comment that he was 'fighting demons', former home minister and Peddapuram MLA N Chinarajappa said Jagan himself was a demon and his was 'demonic rule'.
In his speech on February 24 here during the launch of Jagananna Vasathi Deevena, Jagan Mohan Reddy said he was fighting Rakshasas (demons) and sought the support of people.
Hitting back at the Chief Minister, Chinarajappa said people of the state were facing so many troubles with his bad governance and were seeking the support of opposition.
He visited the house of former MP and senior TDP leader P Ashok Gajapathi Raju here and spoke to media along with him on Tuesday.
He alleged that the YSRCP government was squeezing the common man by increasing power tariff, bus fares, depriving thousands of poor people of pension and holding up release of crores of rupees bills for developmental works.
Further, he said the government was snatching away lands from the poor people and distributing the same again to common people in the name of house pattas.
"No development work has been undertaken in any village in the past nine months. Chandrababu Naidu is always with common man and he will tour in this district on February 27 as part of Praja Chaitanya Yatra. But the government is harassing TDP cadres and terrorising them with false cases. Jagan Mohan Reddy is ruling like a dictator," fumed Chinarajappa.
Ashok Gajapathi Raju said TDP would not be scared of Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up by the government to harass TDP leaders and officials whom they detest and questioned what was wrong with Naidu's bus yatra and why it was being obstructed.
