Vijayawada: Y S Sharmila, sister of YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, called upon the voters to vote for the YSRCP to get Rajanna Rajyam (Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy rule) in the State. She addressed public meetings at Panja centre, Vijayawada West Assembly constituency, Mylavaram and Jaggaiahpet Assembly constituencies on Tuesday, the last day of the election campaign in the State.

Sharmila assured that Jaganmohan Reddy would give Rajanna Rajyam and appealed to people to defeat the ruling TDP in the Assembly elections.

She said the state did not get Special Category Status due to the U-turn policies of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and added the TDP government had scrapped the welfare schemes and the government failed to construct one permanent building in the capital Amaravati in the last five years.

Vijayawada Lok Sabha YSRCP nominee Potluri Veera Prasad, West Assembly candidate Velampalli Srinivas, Mylavaram YSRCP candidate Vasantha Krishna Prasad, Jaggaiahpet candidate Samineni Udaya Bhanu and other leaders participated in the campaign.
