VPT hosts Swachhta Pakwada at Queen Mary Girls High School

Visakhapatnam: As part of the Swachhta Pakwada programme, Visakhapatnam Port Trust conducted drawing and essay writing competitions at Queen Mary Girls High School on Tuesday. The theme of the event was on 'Plastic waste management.' Schoolchildren in large numbers participated in the event.

A skit was played as part of Swachha Bharat at Queen Mary Girls High School to create awareness among schoolchildren on cleanliness and how plastic is dangerous to environment by VPT Cultural Team.

Schoolchildren were educated about the various cleanliness issues like keeping their surrounding areas clean and tidy and the impact of usage of plastic to the environment in the present day world. The programme was witnessed by VPT HoDs, school teaching staff, employees and children.
