We are against the Donald Trump's visit to India: CPI

CPI National Secretary General D Raja said that they are against the US President Donald Trump two-day visit to India stating that the US was following imperialist and hegemonic policies towards other countries and that they were opposed to such a visit to India.

The Indian government, which has to adopt an independent foreign policy had yielded to the pressure of the US. The CPI has called on its party workers to launch a nationwide protest against Trump's visit to India.

Donald Trump is reported to be touring India as part of a two-day India tour.
