We shall finalise new industrial policy in Andhra Pradesh by June 26: Mekapati Gautam Reddy

Industries and Commerce Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy said the new industrial policy would be finalized on the 26th of this month. On Thursday, he met with the Industrial Task Force on this issue. He said that the meeting has discussed over new industrial policy, which will be designed to prioritize four areas. The Minister said that the industry would be given a 30-day clearance policy. We also provide space, water, power and skill man power to industries.

All resources in the state will be utilized efficiently, he said. He said the government is contemplating to bring an industrial policy that would not tolerate any corruption. He said that the state would focus on the environment, along with investment and employment in the industrial sector. CM Gautam Reddy said that CM YS Jagan has made it clear that the industries shall not be allowed that creates harm to the environment.

Industry, Investment and Infrastructure Special Secretary-General, Task Force Committee Vice Chairman Karikala Valavan, Director of Industries, Task Force CEO Subramaniam Jawadi, IT Department Chief Secretary Kona Shashidhar, Panchayati Raj secretary Gopal Krishna Dwivedi , Power Secretary N. Srikanth and other top officials participated.
