We would show our power to YSRCP and TDP in local body elections: GVL Narasimha Rao
BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao on Wednesday said that BJP and Jana Sena parties would show their strength in the local body elections provided the elections are conducted in a fair and smooth manner. He said that they would show the trailer about their alliance power before the general elections. He said that the people have lost confidence in the TDP and YSRCP in the state.
Since the Election Commission had postponed the election process in the state, the BJP national spokesperson urged SEC to start the election process from the beginning. He said that the Election Commission had the power to postpone elections however he said that it was inappropriate to postpone only a part of elections.
MP GVL Narasimha Rao has also responded to the violence acts prevailed during the election process and alleged that the YSRCP of resorting to such mean acts. He also found fault with the government deciding to hold elections of local bodies within a period of just 13 days. Later GVL welcomed the Supreme Court's judgement of postponing the AP election process.
