WG will be named after Alluri, assures Nagababu

Bhimavaram: Jana Sena Party candidate for Narsapuram parliamentary constituency K Nagababu has promised that West Godavari district will be named after 'Manyam Veerudu' and great freedom-fighter Alluri Seetaramaraju, if his party is voted to power in the elections.

Addressing the media here on Tuesday, Nagababu said that the JSP government would construct 100 feet statue of Alluri, who aroused the political consciousness among the tribal community and launched an attack on the British rulers. The JSP candidate showered many sops to Bhimavaram and other towns falling under the constituency with a request to elect him from the seat this time.

The actor-turned-politico said that JSP would set up Mahila Canteens in the name of Dokka Seetamma, a famous social servant. He also disclosed that an airport at Bhimavaram would come up in JSP government. Similarly, an IT Park would also come up in the same town.

Nagababu promised to solve traffic problem in every town coming under the jurisdiction of Narsapur LS constituency. Every village in the constituency will get drinking water through pipeline, he added.

He also gave an assurance that Yanamadurru drain pollution problem would be solved.
