Will be developed under PPP mode: Dy CM

Nellore: Deputy Chief Minister and Minorities Welfare Minister SB Amzath Basha visited the famous Kasumuru Dargah on Friday in connection with his visit to Nellore for participating in the roti festival. He along with the legislators Kakani Govardhan Reddy, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and other leaders visited the Dargah.

Addressing the media in Venkatachalam on Friday, Basha said that he would extend support for developing the Dargah as an important tourism destination in the coming years. He said he had offered prayers to the God for the well-being of the poor in the State in the coming 5 years.

The Minister said he would take measures for preparing a DPR for development of the Dargah to be taken up under PPP mode. Basha stated Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is very keen on issues of the minorities.

Legislators Govardhan Reddy and Ramanarayana Reddy also spoke. CEO of the State Wakf Board Sd Shabbir Basha, Minority Welfare Officer Ismail Basha, and others were present.

Further, the Home Minister M Sucharitha visited Bara Shaheed Dargah on Friday and offered prayers. She, along with the Minister for Water Resources Dr P Anil Kumar Yadav and others inspected dargah premises and participated in serving food to the devotees.

 She exchanged roti in Swarnala Tank. Sucharitha reached from Guntur and stayed in R&B Guest House where Ministers and legislators met her. Gudur MLA Varaprasad Rao, Kavali MLA R Pratap Kumar Reddy and others accompanied her.
