Winter Assembly sessions: TDP MLAs attend the Assembly putting on Onion garlands

The winter Assembly sessions is all set the begin in a while today. The MLAs and Ministers arrived Assembly point. The session which is going to be held for ten days, will witness a big fight as ruling and TDP parties prepped up hard to corner each other.

On the TDP leaders have marked a protest by wearing onion garlands in demand to reduce the onion prices. The marshals took exception and stopped them stating that garlands and placards are not allowed.

On the other hand, opposition TDP demands discussion on 21 issues and issued a adjournment motion. However, the Speaker takes up question hour after rejecting their demand.

While TDP MLA Rama Naidu demanded clarification on cancellation of PPAs. The minister Buggana said that there is no timeframe for it and the committees appointed for it would submit reports.

Acchennaidu demanded the government to answer whether the government received any communication from Centre on PPAs and if so what was the response from the government.

Minister Buggana said that there were overnight agreements between the then government and the power companies and that have to be reviewed.

Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu raises further questions but was not allowed.

The Speaker moves ahead with question hour.
