Woman kills three children over illegal affair in Anantapur district

Anantapur: The police have cracked the murder case of the three children with the arrest of their mother, who killed them by pushing into the well at Pedda Kammavari Palli village in Nallacheruvu Mandal of Anantapur district on Sunday.

The police confirmed that the woman had killed her children over an illegal affair with her boyfriend. Speaking to media, Puttaparthi DSP Ramakrishnaiah said that all the accused were arrested who are involved in the case.

Going into details, a woman named Arunamma of Pedda Kammavari Palli got married to Ramesh who belongs to Kadiri 13 years ago. The couple has three children.

Ramesh runs a business along with his close relative Gurubabu. In this context, Gurubabu uses to frequently visit Ramesh's house, which led to an illegal affair with Arunamma. On knowing about her affair, Ramesh sent away Arunamma to her parent's house a few months ago. Taking advantage of this, Gurubabu pressured her to continue the relationship with him.

With this, Gurubabu's wife Radhamma went to Arunamma's house in Puttaparthi and had a fight with her and warned her to stay away from her husband.

After this incident, Arunamma decided to stay with her boyfriend and for which she wants to kill her three children who were an obstacle for her illicit relationship. As per the plan, she took her three children near a farm well and pushed them into the water on Sunday night.

The locals who saw Arunamma walking in the farmland at mid-night, stoped and confronted her. With this, she admitted the crime and also jumped into the well.

Immediately, the villagers also dived into well and rescued her and found the three children who were already died. Over the incident, Arunamma surrendered herself in front of VRO Lalitha. On receiving the complaint, the police have arrested Arunamma and her husband Ramesh, Gurubabu and his wife Radhamma.
