Woman strangled to death, robbed her gold in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: In a horrific incident, a woman was strangled to death by some unknown persons and later snatched her gold ornaments at Bhavanipuram in Vijayawada.

In order not to be tracked by the police, the culprits sprinkled chilli powder at the spot. This crime has taken place near the Pandu hotel at Bhavanipuram. The deceased identified as Y Padmavathi. On the incident, the police have registered a case, and the clues team has inspected the site. The officials are also examining the CCTV footage in the surrounding areas and investigating further.
