Visakhapatnam: The petrol attack on GVMC officer has created a flutter in Visakhapatnam. Going into details, a sanitary supervisor Annamani tried to pour petrol on AMHO Lakshmi Tulsi at GVMC sixth zone office.

Annamani, who came to office, had a discussion with Tulsi and after a while, she took out the petrol bottle which she brought with her and tried to throw it at the officer. Immediately, Lakshmi Tulsi became alert and escaped from the attack. The other staff reacted and grabbed the petrol bottle from Annamani.

It's reported that a dispute is going on between Annamani who works as a sanitary supervisor under Gopalapatnam limits and Lakshmi Tulsi for the past some time.

Speaking after the incident, Lakshmi Tulsi said that as Annamani was on leave for 20 days, and her salary was deducted, and due to this, she has attacked her. However, Annamani alleged that despite doing work, Lakshmi Tulsi is harassing her. On the incident, the police reached the spot and took Annamani into their custody and investigating further.
